The owners of New Zealand's first cat cafe are stunned at its popularity.
Mike Jones and Vicky Chapman opened The Cat Lounge on Auckland's North Shore to the general public on November 7 and after posting on their Facebook page, the pair got 500 bookings in two days.
Inside the Auckland cafe's cat area are scratching posts, climbing equipment, tunnels, and couches. About 15 resident cats roam and play with customers while movies and cat videos play on big screen televisions. More
